Your invitation to our Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) Strategy launch event

Join us at our EDI virtual launch event on Monday 6 December, 4-5pm.

Valuing equality, diversity and inclusion is a vital part of what success looks like in our organisation. We want to be there for everyone affected by MS. Until we are, we’re not going to fulfil our core mission of a world free from the effects of MS.

We’ve made positive steps in recent years to embed EDI in our work, and we’re committed to doing more. Over the last year we’ve worked hard to reach out to people from across the organisation and our MS community, and heard views on what it would take to do better.

We want to bring you on this EDI journey with us, and hope that you'll be able to join us as we reflect what we’ve heard and what our plans are at a virtual launch event on Monday 6 December, from 4-5pm.

What can I expect at the launch event?

We’re hosting a virtual launch event on Zoom with both volunteers and staff. You’ll hear from some of our trustees as well as insights from people who have taken part in our research. We’ll reflect on what our research has told us about where we are now. And we’ll talk through our EDI strategy and implementation plan which set out how we’ll be putting the strategy into action over the next three years.

There will be a chance to ask questions to the panel in advance of the event when you register your place, as well as during the session.

If you’re not familiar with Zoom, you can find more information in our guidance for volunteers, which is also included in the confirmation email once you’ve signed up.

What happens if I can’t make the event?

We’ll be sending an email out to all volunteers and staff on Tuesday 7 December with information regarding the strategy and implementation plan. This event is just the beginning of this work, so there will be further opportunities to get involved, and more detail regarding work going on, coming in 2022.

How do I sign up?

Please sign up to the event via Eventbrite here, where you’ll also be given the opportunity to submit questions in advance.

We hope you can join us!
