Branches not using (online) branch accounting

Your branch treasurer should receive the 2013 accounts pro forma pack via post by the end of the second week of November.

The Agreed upon Procedures Report (AUP) is a checklist report that an independent accountant must complete on behalf of notified branches only. If your branch is required to complete an AUP, it will be included in the pro-forma pack.

Deadline for submission is 31 January 2014. Please remember to include the completed internal financial controls checklist. The report will need to be signed off by the treasurer and chair of your branch.

Branches using (online) branch accounting

If your branch uses (online) branch accounting, your treasurer will be emailed an update of the treasurers’ handbook and the internal financial controls checklist.

The chair must verify the receipts and payments report column figure for ‘year to date’ to December 2013 by either:

  • emailing back a copy of the report (copying in the branch treasurer) to the Branch Finance Support Team confirming the report is accurate OR
  • signing the report and posting it back to Finance

The completed internal financial controls checklist must also be signed by both treasurer and chair and posted to Finance, or emailed to [email protected].

Please verify your receipts and payments report and the completed internal financial controls checklist by 31 January 2014.
