In the last edition of Teamspirit we told you about our Cards for a Cause fundraiser, where we invite celebrities to create a one-off birthday card to mark our 60th anniversary.
So far we’ve had an incredible response, with some very famous names designing cards just for us! From Sir Roger Moore to Sir Ranulph Fiennes and Lorraine Kelly to Alan Shearer, a huge range of top names have designed on our behalf. We’ve even had colourful and creative designs from the likes of Jamie Oliver (pictured). The Cards for a Cause auction will be open to the general public who will be given the chance to bid on the cards, as a special gift for a fan of the artist, or even to keep themselves!
The unique items will be auctioned online through eBay for Charity. However, rather than running from 18 November until 2 December, we’ve decided to push the bidding back, and start the auction on 2 December – the day we turn 60 - running until 12 December.
All proceeds from the sale of the cards will fund research into treatments to help us beat MS for good.
