The results are out, and we can now confirm that we won an incredible £10,000 in the Daily Mirror and People's Postcode Lottery Vote that Counts competition!
A huge thank you to everyone who got involved and voted for us and encouraged their branch, their family and their friends to do the same.
All the money will be used to provide grants to people living with MS. To put this into context, this could mean providing five powered wheelchairs, three stair lifts or around ten car adaptations.
The MS Society received over 13,000 votes in the competition, placing us third – which is an amazing achievement. There were nine charities involved, and the first prize of £50,000 was won by the PDSA. Childline, the RNLI and the Alzheimer's Society also won £10,000.
