MS Life, the biggest national event for people with MS, is taking place on 26-27 April 2014 at Manchester Central. This is a free event to attend.
MS Life 2012 was attended by 2,500 people from across the UK and Europe, making it the biggest event of its kind in the world. We ran 45 workshops and seven research talks over the weekend, delivering 52 hours worth of information.
We are looking forward to 2014 being just as successful, but we need your help to promote it and to encourage your members to come along.
There are several ways you can support MS Life:
You can promote it in your branch newsletter, webpage or on social media. Use the copy, images, logos and adverts available. The MS Life team also have postcards that you can send out to your members, just contact the MS Life team on the details below to request the postcards.
We know Manchester isn’t easy for everyone to get to, so why not use your branch minibus or hire a coach to get you and local members there? It’s not as hard as it sounds and the MS Life team can help get you started.
Grants are also available to help people who live outside the Greater Manchester area who attend the event. If anyone requires financial support in order to attend, just get them to complete the form and return it to address on the form. Grant applications will close on 28 March 2014.
