Following extensive work by our volunteering team, we now have a highly accurate estimate of our volunteer numbers: we have approximately 5,500 volunteers across the UK.
Some of you may be aware that we’ve previously been using an estimate of 9,000 volunteers. This doesn’t mean that we’ve lost volunteers. The figure is just much more accurate than the figure we’ve previously been quoting.
