Today marks the start of European Health and Safety Week 2016. Each year, this campaign seeks to promote good health and safety practice and this year’s theme is healthy workplaces for all ages.
As part of European Health and Safety week, we’re in the process of reviewing and updating our Health and Safety policy. Once this is complete it’s really important that all staff and volunteers read this document as it lays out the organisation’s responsibilities towards its volunteers and staff and also each individual’s responsibilities to the MS Society, themselves and each other.
We’ll let you know via the volunteer website once this new policy is available. If you have any questions please contact the health and safety team and we’ll be happy to discuss any queries.
