Patricia Gordon, our former Director for Northern Ireland, has now taken up the role of Acting CEO. Patricia will be in post until the end of January 2019. Our newly appointed CEO, Nick Moberly, starts in January and will work alongside Patricia to get to know us as well as possible before taking over as CEO in February.
Patricia joined us in 2008 as Director for Northern Ireland, after 30 years working in health and social care. Patricia has a huge amount of knowledge and experience about the MS Society and MS. She has acted as CEO on various occasions during that time, most significantly during the previous transition between CEOs.
Patricia says,
“I’ve always been so impressed with the passion and desire of our staff and volunteers to improve our reach, and to be innovative and creative so I hope we can continue to progress our ambitious plans in the coming months.”
