Our current strategy Together to Beat MS comes to an end this year. Our next strategy will launch in 2020, setting out our goals for the next five years.
To help develop our next strategy we spoke to lots of people in our MS community about what they think is important; what we should build on and what doesn’t work well.

What you told us
All this feedback told us that we need to do more to reach different parts of our community. And that we should continue supporting research for treatments for all types of MS, and also keep providing support for people living with MS now.
What happens next?
All the feedback and ideas from the MS community have helped create the strategy. Our Board of Trustees signed-off the new strategy for 2020-2024 in June. On 21 September the strategy went to our AGM and our members strongly endorsed it. In 2020 the strategy will launch publicly and we'll start putting it in to action!

Our Vision: A world free from the effects of MS.
Our Mission: Transforming lives, stopping MS.
In 2014, we consulted lots of people affected by MS to develop our seven goals. For our next strategy we’ve combined these goals into three.
Our three goals are:
- Effective treatments and preventing MS
- People living well with MS
- Connected communities, powerful voices
These are our long-term aspirational goals, guiding everything we do in the future.
We want to build on all the progress we’ve made so far – in MS research, through the services we provide and by continuing to campaign for change on the things that matter most to people living with MS. And we can’t do any of it without you – we look forward to the difference we can make together in the next five years.
