Let us hear your volunteer voice

This is an unsettling time for everyone, and we really appreciate all that you are doing to continue to support the needs of our MS community. But it’s equally important for us to know what you need, so we can support you in the best possible way.

Since the crisis began, our CEO, Nick Moberly, and our Executive Director for Digital and Services, Ed Holloway, have been holding regular Zoom sessions with volunteers. These have been an opportunity to air concerns, ask questions, and find out how the organisation is responding to the situation. They have also been a forum to share knowledge and ideas about the challenges of volunteering during lockdown, and to swap success stories.

These ‘Volunteer Voice’ events will now happen on a monthly basis. Nick and/or Ed may not always be available, but the sessions will always be hosted by a senior decision-maker. From time to time, we'll welcome colleagues from different areas of the organisation, to update on what their teams have been up to.

While these sessions remain an opportunity to discuss issues relating to the COVID-19 crisis, they are not restricted to this. So, if you have questions about any aspect of the organisation or your volunteering role, sign up and bring them along. Even if we can’t answer them there and then, we want to know what’s on your mind.

We hope to see you at a session soon. You can sign up for the 16 June event here.
