What's next for volunteering at the MS Society?

Before the COVID pandemic, we did a lot of work with volunteers to develop our new Volunteering Strategy, but it is yet to be completed. As we near the end of this difficult year, the role you play to support people affected by MS may never have been more important.

Helen Cooke (Volunteering Strategy Group member and Helpline volunteer) and Angela Wilson (Head of Volunteering) will co-host three online Zoom sessions to share the progress we’ve made on the Volunteering Strategy so far, and to listen to your views and ideas. We’re also mindful there will be lessons to be learned from this time of COVID-19. We want to hear what it’s been like for you, and to consider, together, what this might mean for our strategy going forward.

It’s likely that we’ll begin each session with an overview of where we’ve got to so far, and then split into smaller groups to discuss various elements of the future strategy.

This is a good opportunity to develop joint thinking between grassroots volunteers and the wider organisation. We really want to move forward together, as one team, so we hope you’ll consider joining us, and help us paint the picture of great volunteering at the MS Society.

The Zoom sessions will take place on the following dates. You can join by clicking the links below to register:
