Introducing 'For you' - our new online and offline experience

Last year we told you about the new online and offline experience we were developing for our MS community in relation to our membership changes. This experience is called For you.

As part of For you, we’ve been busy working on a new digital platform to give existing members additional online benefits and provide new joiners with an enhanced experience on our website. And we’re very excited to announce that it will be launching in June to existing members!

For you is all about:

  • Being inclusive. We don’t want cost to be a barrier for anyone who is thinking of joining the MS Society, so it’s free to set up an account. Instead of charging a membership fee we’re asking people to contribute what they can either as a donation or subscription to MS Matters.

  • Being flexible. Because everyone’s experience living with MS is different. So, there are exciting ways for you to choose what you see and when you see it.

  • Bringing the MS community together. So, it’s full of opportunities to connect with others, find support and share knowledge.

  • Deepening our understanding of our supporters. So, we will use the information you give us to develop stronger and longer relationships.

  • Testing, learning and improving the experience. So, we'll have an extensive programme to see what’s working, what could be improved and what features should be added.

What’s happening next?

If you’re an existing member, we’ll be in touch again before June with more information about For you and all of the benefits it offers, so keep a look out!

We want to understand what’s working, what can be improved and what else you'd like to see. We’ll then use your feedback to develop For you over the coming months, before sharing it with others in the MS community.

Want to know more?

On Wednesday 28 April, staff from the Digital and Marketing Team will be joining our Volunteer Voice session to tell you more about For you. This will be a great opportunity to have a sneak peek at what For you will look like and ask any questions you have.

To find out more information in the meantime, check out our For you webpage here.
