Stop MS Appeal Annual Lecture

Our 2022 Annual Lecture will take place on Wednesday 8 June at 7.15pm at the Royal College of Physicians in London. It's a key feature of the Stop MS Appeal, giving donors and supporters the chance to hear about the latest in MS research from eminent scientists.

This year’s speaker is Anna Williams, Professor of Regenerative Neurology and Honorary Consultant Neurologist at the Centre for Regenerative Medicine at the University of Edinburgh. Anna will share how she combines clinical expertise with lab research to help us understand what is driving progressive MS. She’ll also explore how these discoveries might impact the future of treatments. The talk will be delivered with non-scientists in mind, and followed by a panel session and Q&A with some of our Stop MS Scientific Ambassadors.

The event is free, with room for 300 people to attend. The venue is fully accessible, and there are spaces for wheelchairs. Anyone who would like to attend in person should contact [email protected] as soon as possible to reserve a place and discuss any accessibility requirements.

Nearer the time, we’ll release details of how anyone who can’t attend can stream the Lecture live on YouTube.

Please share this information with our community and the supporters in your network. Let’s make the 2022 Annual Lecture the biggest yet!
