Volunteer Voice in 2022

Our Volunteer Voice sessions are your chance to join a virtual get together of senior leaders and fellow volunteers to hear updates from across the organisation, and to raise questions and issues that are important to you.

As well as hearing from Nick Moberly, our Chief Executive Officer, each session has a theme based on updates or projects which may be of interest to volunteers. After this 15-minute segment, the rest of the session is dedicated to discussion and responding to questions or queries. You can ask questions in advance, or bring them up on the day.

Each session is an hour long and dates are advertised in our volunteer update emails, where you’ll also find the link to sign up for a session.

We’ll be holding eight more sessions in 2022 – taking a break for the holiday months of August and December. And we’ve made some changes based on your feedback from 2021.

What’s different this year?

  • We had feedback that Wednesday isn’t suitable for everyone, so we’re now scheduling them on different days in the last week of the month.

  • You told us that you don’t always know what questions you want to ask when you sign up, potentially weeks before the event. . This year, we’ll be contacting everyone who has signed up, to invite them to submit questions by email a few days before the event.

  • You told us that sometimes the discussion or questions felt cut off, so we’re holding a 15- minute buffer at the end of the session so that those who wish to can hang on and finish conversations.

March Volunteer Voice

This month’s Volunteer Voice is taking place on Tuesday 22 March. We’ll be joined by colleagues giving an update on our plans for MS Awareness Week and sharing how you can get involved.
