Volunteer Impact Awards

Our Impact Awards are one way that we recognise the commitment, achievements, and successes of our volunteers. They shine a spotlight on our volunteers’ amazing contributions and the impact they have on people affected by MS.

It’s so easy to nominate someone you think deserves recognition for their volunteering, so don't forget to tell us about them.

Nominate now

All you have to do is fill in a short form, sharing how the person you’re nominating has made an impact. You can find the form on our Impact Awards page on the website here.

How we choose our Impact Award recipients

Nominations are made by service users, volunteers and staff. These are then assessed quarterly by our panel, which is made up of experienced volunteers from a variety of roles across the MS Society.

Those chosen for an Impact Award will then receive a certificate and badge in the post!

Reviewing our Impact Awards Ceremony

After very careful consideration and feedback, we’ve decided not to host a Volunteer Impact Awards Ceremony this year.

The volunteer recognition programme was built with our community, and we’ve received such an excellent response to the awards, we want to take the opportunity to see how we can build on and improve the whole programme.

We feel it’s important to thank and celebrate all our volunteers in whatever role or capacity they support us, so we’ll use this time to focus on listening and working collaboratively on ways we can do this.

We’re grateful for this time to review what’s working, what we can improve and how we can ensure all our volunteers know how crucial and valued they are by us.

You can find more information about the Volunteer Impact Awards on the website.
