Piloting two online peer-support groups

Back in November, we let you know what’s coming up in 2025 from our LivingWell virtual events programme of webinars and peer groups. We’ve listened to feedback from the MS community, and consulted with our MS Community Engagement Group, about the subjects that matter most.
This year promises to be the best and most impactful yet. Wherever someone is in their MS journey, we think they’ll find something to interest and support them.
Extending our reach
We’re also now delighted to introduce two brand-new facilitated peer groups, that we’ll be piloting from January to March:
- Progressive forms of MS Peer Group
This group will be co-hosted by John Eaton, who's lived with MS since 2000.
John says: "This peer group offers a fresh look, mutual encouragement, and some useful life tips. We want to hear from you and will introduce different discussion topics each month. Hope you will join us."
- Ally Network: Support for carers, family and friends
The Livingwell Ally Network Virtual Support Group for Carers and Allies of MS Patients was suggested by Simone Bell, whose husband lives with MS.
Simone will be facilitating these sessions for us and sharing her own experiences of being a carer.
Simone says: “As someone who loves and supports someone with MS I know how important community is and so partnering with the MS Society allows me to connect with other incredible individuals who give so much of themselves to support loved ones. Together, we’re fostering a supportive community where carers and allies can find practical advice, encouragement, and a reminder that they’re not alone.”
Spread the word
Our LivingWell events take place using Zoom and are easy to book on Eventbrite.
If you’re supporting anyone who might benefit from attending a session, or joining a support group, do let them know, and please share information about all the events we offer through your channels.
