Assemble support

We’re continuing at pace to get everything ready for the launch of Assemble. The launch of Assemble is part of a complex data project for the organisation. The project team continues to meet to decide on organisational readiness for the launch of all the related systems. As soon as we’re able to share a more definitive update with the timeline for launch, we’ll be in touch by email.

Once Assemble goes live, there’ll be a range of support resources for you to use to get to know Assemble. We’ll keep this article updated with links as resources become available.

Live support

Volunteer drop-in sessions

We’ll be hosting a range of online drop-in sessions for you to ask questions about using Assemble. The sessions will focus on the following themes:

  • Getting to know Assemble
  • Getting to know volunteers
  • Getting in touch with your network
  • Getting the information you need for your role
  • Getting up to date with your volunteering
  • Getting new volunteers involved
  • Ask us anything

We encourage you to log into Assemble first and try it out, then come to sessions with questions about anything you’re unsure of. You’re welcome to drop into these sessions and listen to other people’s questions too.

Group Coordinator information session

If you’re a Group Coordinator, you’ll have access to an additional online session to explain how Assemble can help you and your groups. This session will include guidance on supporting your Coordinating Team to use Assemble.

Video support

Training videos

The team have recorded a collection of training videos. These will walk you through a range of topics such as logging in, using the messaging platform and seeing your assigned tasks. The videos will make it easier for you to get to know Assemble.

FAQs on the Volunteer Website/Assemble

You’ll be able to find a list of frequently asked questions and their answers on the Volunteer Website and Assemble. We’ll update these as queries arise from support sessions.

Where things were before/where they are now

We know you’re used to finding your way around the Volunteer Website and the Portal. Our team’s putting together a handy guide to finding what you’re looking for on Assemble, whether that’s documents, news, or events. We’ll also explain where you’ll go now on Assemble to carry out tasks you used to complete on the other systems.

Written how-to guide

As well as live support sessions and training videos, you’ll have access to a written guide. This’ll have step-by-step instructions on using Assemble.
