Ways to celebrate Volunteers’ Week this year

This year, Volunteers’ Week kicks off on Monday 2 June and runs until Sunday 8 June.
It’s a time for charities, voluntary groups, social organisations and volunteers themselves to come together. And it’s a time to recognise the incredible impact that volunteering has on communities around the UK.
We know that sometimes the most valuable recognition comes from those you know. So now’s the perfect time to think about how you might want to celebrate your fellow volunteers or group.
Perhaps you’d like to arrange a special lunch or coffee morning during the week to invite your volunteers to. Or maybe you could send a thank you card to another volunteer who’s helped you recently. If you know a volunteer who’s gone above and beyond this year, and they’re happy to be featured on your social media, why not think about giving them a shout out?
