Help us name our new UK-wide services model

Project Mead is our services transformation project, which will improve our UK-wide services and support offer.

We’ve been speaking to volunteers and our staff teams to understand how we can make it easier for people to find out about our services and move between online services, virtual services and local community services. We’ve been asking how we can tailor services to meet the individual needs of everyone who comes to us for support, no matter where they are on their journey with MS.

As the work progressed, we identified an approach for our UK-wide services that we’ve been calling the ‘Hub model’. The model is inspired by the success of the Scottish Wellbeing Hub pilot that supported so many people in that community during the pandemic.

The ’Hub’ will be a virtual resource that integrates with our digital and telephone services and our local community services to create a seamless MS Society experience.

Whether you're looking for information about MS or trying to find out about national and local support services, through the Hub, you'll be able to access accurate, up-to-date information wherever you are in the UK.

Tell us what you think!

One question we still have is what are we going to call our ‘Hub’? Our brand team have been having conversations with volunteers and people affected by MS to hear what they think. Now we’d like to hear from you, too.

We’re currently using the word ‘Hub’ as a placeholder name. Do you like this name for a virtual tool that brings all our services and support information together for easy access? Does it make sense to you?

Would you understand that you’ll be able to find and connect with all of our services through the ‘Hub’, whether you contact us online, over email or call us and speak to one of our volunteers?

We’ve collected some of the names that have been suggested for our new Services and Support ‘Hub’, and we’d love to find out what you think of them.
