An update on the delays to Assemble

We know many of you have been eagerly awaiting the launch of our new volunteer management system (VMS), Assemble.

Assemble is one of multiple connected systems that form a new data platform we’ve been developing called Sage. This platform will bring all our data into one central location, creating a single and reliable source.

Whilst we’re ready to go live with Assemble, there have been some issues during the testing phase of Sage relating to finance and donations. As you'll understand, as a charity, Sage simply can't go live without these working properly.

The Sage Team has made good progress with fixing these issues and are optimistic that we’ll be clearer about a launch date soon. Large-scale IT projects like Sage are extremely complex, but we understand delays can be frustrating.

We want to assure you that everyone is working hard to launch the system, and progress is being made every day.

In the meantime, we are using this time to continue populating Assemble with the latest news and information. We’ve also been creating additional guidance with input from the Volunteer User Panel to ensure your introduction to Assemble is as smooth as possible when we go live.
