Update on Project Mead

As most volunteers will be aware by now, Project Mead is our services transformation project. We’ve been busy developing a new structure for our services to make it easier for people affected by MS to find trusted information, expert guidance and personal support when they need it.
Our new structure will launch next year as MS Help.
We're introducing the MS Help Hub to bring together everything our community needs to manage their MS or support and care for someone living with MS. We'll have a single point of contact, so no matter if they phone, email or use the new webchat facility, they'll connect directly to our MS Help Hub.
Alongside our public-facing MS Help Hub, we're creating new local MS Help Teams to provide support and resources for our volunteers, so you can get on with delivering services and support for people affected by MS.
What this means for staff
Last week, we began an internal consultation on the restructuring proposal with staff teams in our Services and Support directorate. The consultation will run for several weeks. Once the outcome has been decided, we’ll start to make the changes needed to implement the new structure. This might include moving some of our staff members into new teams and new roles. It may also put some roles at risk or involve recruiting new people into the team.
If you need to speak to our Volunteer Support Team or your usual contact in Services and Support during this time, please be mindful that it may take a bit longer to respond to your query.
We’re sorry for any inconvenience this may cause you, and we’re looking forward to delivering the changes our community have asked for to improve services for everyone affected by MS.
