What’s next for Assemble?

It’s now nearly time to give access to Assemble (our new volunteer management system) to the rest of our volunteers.

All volunteers in our ‘priority groups’ - those that actively provide services and/or are recruiting new volunteers, along with Trustees and Council Chairs – now have access to Assemble.

Next in line are remaining group volunteers and those of you who are not part of a local group.

When you’ll get access

Within the next couple of weeks, we’ll be inviting Group Coordinators to log in. Then, at the beginning of May, remaining volunteers will be given access. This is so Group Coordinators can support the volunteers within their groups to log in and start using the system.

Before you receive the login email from Assemble, you’ll receive a heads-up email with details on what to expect, useful resources to get you started and details of the support available to you.

If you’re a Group Coordinator, please keep a look out for the heads-up email next week!

If you don’t receive an email from us, please check your Spam and Junk inboxes. Please contact [email protected] if you still can’t find an email from us.

Support

Don’t worry if you don’t have a Group Coordinator, or you find using a new system daunting. We have lots of support available to help you navigate Assemble. We encourage you to join one of our online training sessions to get started. Details about these sessions and how to sign up can be found on Assemble here. This information will also be shared in the heads-up email before you receive the login email from Assemble.

Assemble Champion volunteer role coming soon!

As an Assemble Champion, you’ll help us reach more Assemble users and inspire them to use the new system to its full potential. You’ll provide peer-to-peer support to help train other volunteers to use it as part of their day-to-day volunteering. As a Champion, you’ll be the ‘super user’ - the go-to person who helps others build confidence with using the system.

We’ll be sharing details in our newsletter soon, so if you’d like to support others or you’re looking to broaden your volunteering skills, please keep a look out!
