Coming together to bring our 2025-2029 MS strategy to life

On April 29, we hosted a vibrant online strategy engagement session that brought together dedicated volunteers from across the MS Society community. The event generated thoughtful, constructive discussions about how we can collectively bring our strategy to life.
Your voice matters
Twelve passionate volunteers contributed their valuable insights and experiences, helping to shape how we'll communicate and implement our strategic vision. The session demonstrated the incredible depth of knowledge and commitment within our volunteer community.
Our strategy has three key focus areas - Stop MS, Be Heard, and Live Well. We’ll achieve these through activities we’re calling Deepening Engagement and Working Well.
Key insights from our volunteers
Strong emphasis on ensuring the strategy reaches and benefits everyone in our community, including those who aren't digitally connected
Valuable suggestions for improving local presence and strengthening connections between the central organisation and local groups
Important feedback about supporting people with progressive MS
Thoughtful discussions about measuring concrete outcomes and impact
What's Next?
Your feedback's helping us to develop several exciting initiatives:
An engaging animation series that'll break down each of our key focus areas
A comprehensive toolkit for volunteers and staff, including videos, blogs, and infographics
Improved systems for welcoming and connecting with our MS community
Enhanced communication methods to reach our entire MS community
Your contributions are helping us create a more accessible, engaging, and impactful strategy that truly represents the needs of our community.
We're running slightly behind our original schedule for launching the new strategy. But your input's ensuring that, when we do, it’ll be stronger and more inclusive, truly reflecting the voices of our MS community.
Thank you to everyone who participated and shared their valuable perspectives. Together, we're building a stronger MS Society for all.
