Our upcoming face to face fundraising campaign

Thanks to the positive response to our latest face to face fundraising campaign, 4,073 new donors, with an average annual gift of £119, have joined us in the movement to stop MS. That’s an incredible result.

Increasing the number of regular giving supporters helps us to plan long term and allows us to build long-lasting relationships with these new supporters. You can read about the campaign here: mssociety.org.uk/get-involved/fundraise/fundraising-blog/face-face-fundraising.

We’re preparing to roll out our next face to face fundraising campaign over the coming months as part of our programme to grow our number of supporters and regular giving income. We’ll be reaching out to new supporters and donors who may not have any association with MS or the MS Society. Face to face conversations will raise not only funds but also awareness about the work the MS Society and local groups do to support the MS community.

Let us know your plans

With the festive season approaching, we understand that some groups may be planning to get out in their communities to fundraise. We ask that you kindly let us know about any fundraising activities you have planned and the locations where they will take place.

You can do this by emailing one of the following:

  • Boni on the Individual Giving Team

  • Jo on the Individual Giving Team

  • Your Volunteer Support Officer

This’ll help us to avoid overlap with our campaign activity and ensure everything runs smoothly.

Your feedback helps us to improve

Volunteers are our most valued supporters, and your insights are vital. Once the campaign restarts, we’d particularly like to hear from those of you who’ve interacted with any of our paid-for fundraisers. Your feedback will help us to improve and adapt the campaign to be the best it can be.

Please feel free to send your thoughts or any questions to Boni or Jo.

Thank you for your continued support.
