Highlights of our 2025 volunteer survey
Thanks to everyone who took the time to complete our volunteer survey last month. We had over 70 responses. We'll carry out a detailed analysis to share with you, but we wanted you to have the headline figures as soon as possible.
77% of those who responded feel 'fairly' or 'very' satisfied. We know there’s a lot more to do to get it right for everyone, and we certainly don’t want anyone feeling unsatisfied with their role with us. So we’ll be taking the time to address issues that aren’t working.
30% of respondents are giving up to 10 hours a month, but 20% are giving over 40 hours a month, which is a huge amount. This may be due to some of the 'fighting the system' elements that have come up in ideas for improvement.
There’s so much useful data to learn from. and some great ideas for how we need to improve. But it was lovely to see this comment: “Even this survey helps me to feel a part of an important organisation.”
