Your voice matters – complete the disability and work strategy survey

Too many people with MS face unnecessary barriers at work, from inconsistent support to lack of reasonable adjustments. The Department for Communities is developing a new Disability and Work Strategy, and your experiences can help to shape real change.
Who can take part?
Anyone over 18 years old who lives with MS in Northern Ireland can take part, or someone can complete it on your behalf.
Sharing your experiences of work will help us to respond to the government’s plans for disability and work – and campaign for better workplace support for everyone affected by MS.

Your voice matters
Our Volunteer Influencer Treasa Anderson (pictured below), who’s supporting on this campaign, says:
'Too many workplaces still have no disability policy, no awareness training, and no idea what real support looks like. So, instead of being valued for your skills and experience, which you still have, you’re made to feel inadequate, like you no longer belong. The impact is devastating, which is why it's so important that people with MS are understood in the workplace.
By sharing your experience in our work and MS survey, you'll be helping us to respond to the government's future plans for disability and strengthening our message of the need for better support, better policies, and better understanding of MS in the workplace.'
This short survey is your chance to be heard. Complete the survey now to help us improve employment support for people living with MS.
