Ramadan Mubarak!

Ramadan Mubarak to everyone observing Ramadan this month. Wishing you joy, peace and reflection during this special time.

Ramadan is expected to take place from Wednesday 18 February to around Thursday 19 March 2026, depending on the sighting of the moon, and ends with the celebration of Eid al-Fitr.

Ramadan is a holy month of fasting, worship and community for Muslims. Some people with MS may find their symptoms temporarily worsen during periods when they aren’t eating or drinking. You can read more about fasting and MS in our factsheet.

Noor has also shared her experience of living with MS during Ramadan in a blog on our website.

We wish everyone observing a peaceful Ramadan and a joyful Eid celebration. You can also find a hub of Equity, Equality, Diversity and Inclusion resources on the Volunteer Website, with advice and resources to help make volunteering and services as inclusive as possible.
