The Volunteer Support Team (VST) runs weekly drop-in sessions on Zoom. These sessions run between 2-3pm every Tuesday and are hosted by one of our Volunteer Support Officers (VSO). You don’t need to book a space — just pop into the session when it suits you by using the Zoom details below.
What are the sessions for?
These sessions are an opportunity for you to catch up briefly with a VSO. You may just want to pop in to say hello, but you can also discuss any issues you have, ask questions or request specific information.
You can come and go from a session as needed, popping in for five minutes with a quick question, staying longer to chat something over, or making an alternative arrangement to follow up a conversation at another time.
How do these differ from Coffee & Chat sessions?
Whereas the quarterly Coffee & Chat sessions are designed as networking events, which often include particular information we wish to share with volunteers, these weekly drop-ins are here for you if you’d find it helpful to speak directly with a member of the VST.
How does the Health and Safety drop-in work?
On the first Tuesday of every month, at around 3pm (the end of the VST session) our Health and Safety Officer, Andy Grant, will join the Zoom. He'll be there for half an hour or so for you to drop in with any questions about keeping everyone safe at your group events, and the processes you need to follow. To connect with Andy, just use the Zoom link below.
How to join
The Zoom link below will be the same for every session (VST and Health and Safety). The link is also included in the events section of the volunteer website, as well as on the VST's email footer.
