MS Awareness Week - survey now live!

In our email to you on 26 February we told you about our exciting plans for MS Awareness Week 2021.

Running from 19 – 25 April, MS Awareness Week is a chance to stand up and speak out about living with MS. And, since we often hear from people with MS that talking about it can be tough, we wanted to focus on the barriers people face when opening up about the condition.

Take part in our survey

We mentioned in the previous email that there would be a survey for people to take part in, but at the time that went out the survey was not yet live. We're delighted to say that our #LetsTalkMS survey is now open until Thursday 1 April and we want to hear from as many people in the MS community as possible.

From this survey, we hope to find out how common it is to keep MS a secret, and what the barriers are to speaking out. Please take a moment to fill in the survey, and also share it with anyone you know who’s living with MS. You can find the link here: https://t.co/GfcAHD84f0?amp=1

Whether it’s telling a friend about their diagnosis, opening up to a new partner, or finding the right words to explain symptoms to an employer, sometimes people living with MS can find it easier just to say nothing at all.

Let’s Talk MS

We want to break the silence, so using #LetsTalkMS, from 19 – 25 April we’ll be sharing useful tools to start a conversation, and stories of those who have found their voice. Look out for these stories, blogs and resources across our website and social media channels – and if you can, please share, share, share!
