January Assemble launch

Last month, we announced the exciting milestone that Assemble, our brand-new volunteer management system, has gone live for staff. We’re busy getting everything ready for when it launches for volunteers.

Important reminder about recruitment

This means recruiting new volunteers will also now be done through Assemble and managed by staff until recruiting volunteers are using the system. Any applications currently being processed on REACH will need to be completed on REACH. We hope people applying for roles and managing volunteer recruitment find the new interface and system more efficient to use.

Next steps for Early Adopters

Over the past few months, we’ve been inviting those of you who’re eager to be the first volunteers to get logged on to Assemble to sign up to become an Early Adopter. We’ve had a fantastic response, with 62 sign-ups. Thank you to all our Early Adopters!

If you’ve signed up to be an Early Adopter, you’ll receive an email next week about what to expect in January.

Next steps for other volunteers

We’ll be rolling out Assemble to other volunteers throughout the first half of next year, beginning with groups, Trustees and Council Chairs from mid-February. Read more about the Assemble rollout here.

For those of you who’ll be invited to log in from February, keep a look out for more information in January’s Volunteer Newsletter.

Thank you

Thank you for all your patience as we prepare to launch Assemble. We have plenty of support in place to make it as smooth as possible for you. In the meantime, you can learn about Assemble and access resources, such as ‘how-to’ videos, here.

You can also read more about what to expect from Assemble in our Q&A with Chest Heart & Stroke Scotland Trustee Douglas, who kindly shared his experiences with using the system, answering questions from our Assemble Volunteer User Panel Member Yolanda Barker.

We look forward to welcoming you onto the new system!
