You shall not pass!

We rely on passwords and pin protection to keep our documents, phones and computers safe. This is changing as technology evolves so security keys and other biometric means may soon replace passwords. But, until then, it's vitally important to have strong passwords for keeping personal data safe.

The attempts by criminals to gain access to our personal data continue so we must do all we can to disrupt them.

MS Awareness Week is back and we need you!

MS Awareness Week is returning this 20–26 April 2026. We’re once again partnering with seven of the UK’s biggest MS charities to raise awareness about the condition and the issues people with MS have told us about.

For 2026 we’ll be challenging MS assumptions and the harm they can cause. That’s where you come in. We want to hear your experiences of assumptions and judgements to shape our campaign. We’ve created a short survey that shouldn’t take longer than 5-10 minutes to complete.

Play our Spring Raffle for your chance to win £5,000

As one of our wonderful volunteers, you already do so much to support the MS community. Thank you.

Now there’s another way for you to help. When you enter the Spring Raffle, you get the chance to win big and support the MS community.

What would you spend £5,000 on?

By taking part in the MS Society raffle, you’ll help to fund groundbreaking research and vital support for the 150,000 people living with MS in the UK.

Seeking volunteer facilitators for poetry workshops

MS Society Scotland is partnering with Edinburgh University on an exciting project — PoeMS. This project builds on PhD research by Dr Georgi Gill, who lives with MS. She facilitated online workshops for members of the MS community, where they wrote poems about health experiences and chatted.

Her research found that writing poems together had benefits for wellbeing and self-esteem, as well as the social benefits.

Upcoming 'cold' direct mail fundraising campaign

We’re preparing to roll out our next 'cold' direct mail (DM) fundraising campaign over the coming months. We want to make sure you’re aware of this activity as it begins.

Building on last year’s success, we’ll be using cold DM again to reach people who may not yet have a connection to MS or the MS Society.

Our face-to-face fundraising campaign is back for 2026

Our face-to-face fundraising campaign launched in December 2025 and will run until June. We’re aiming to welcome 2,000 new donors to help fund life-changing research and support for people living with MS by setting up a regular gift.

This campaign is a brilliant way to raise awareness and connect with people who care about making a difference. During our last campaign, donors told us how much they valued their conversations with fundraisers:
