Over the last few months, we’ve been gathering views about how we can renew and develop our local networks. We want to better support you to make sure everyone with MS has the same opportunity for lifelong support within a strong, flourishing MS community, wherever they live.

The Local Networks Team are organising a series of volunteer forums in November. These forums are important because they will determine the future of MS Society local groups and services.

Today we're launching our new campaign MS: Enough - make welfare make sense.
Over 1,700 people with MS completed our survey and shared their expierences of claiming benefits. We found that too many people aren't getting the support they need and are having to make difficult choices about whether they can afford essentials or spend time with family and friends.

This week (8-14 June) is Carers Week and the MS Society is proud to be a supporting of this annual campaign to raise awareness of caring, highlight the challenges carers face and recognise the contribution they make throughout the UK.

This week, 1-7 June, is Volunteers’ Week and we’re taking this opportunity to say a huge THANK YOU to all our volunteers across the UK.
From branch chairs to treasurers, fundraisers and campaigners, newsletter editors, minibus drivers and secretaries, to name but a few, volunteers are a valued and integral part of everything we do.
