Understanding the needs of people with MS in the UK in 2016

Over 11,000 people with MS completed the My MS, My Needs survey, which closed for responses in April.

Thank you so much to everyone who took part or supported this project.

We’re currently analysing the results

The responses highlight where people are getting the treatments, services and support they need, and where improvement is needed. There is much still to look at but the findings will be particularly useful in developing our work around:

Volunteer Forums - Implementing the Local Networks Programme

Our Spring 2016 Volunteer Forums are essential events for MS Society branch volunteers.

Our Volunteering Strategy - your chance to get involved

As part of our ongoing commitment to volunteers, we're in the process of developing our 2016-2019 Volunteering Strategy.

Around 10,000 people with MS completed the My MS, My Needs survey in 2012; one of the largest surveys of people with MS in the UK. The findings have proven highly effective in shaping our new Strategy and lobbying for changes to national guidelines on the care and treatment of MS.

In February we will launch a new version of the survey for 2016.

MS Society Awards 2016

The MS Society Awards are returning this year and we're introducing exciting new categories including Branch of the Year.
