Hollyoaks' character diagnosed with MS

On Thursday 19 January, soap opera Hollyoaks is broadcasting a new storyline where one of their main characters, Nancy Osbourne (pictured), will be diagnosed with MS.

Nancy’s character has been experiencing a series of unexplained symptoms – including weakness, tremor and spasms – since September 2016. This is the first time her condition will be made public. In this episode, she’ll have an appointment with her neurologist where she’ll get her MRI results and be told she has relapsing MS.

Launch of MS: Enough employment campaign

Today we've launched the next phase of our MS: Enough campaign – focusing on support for people with MS at work.

It coincides with the publication of a report by the All-Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) for MS, which has been looking into whether people with MS have the support they need to stay in, or get back into, work. We’ll be in Parliament later today at the launch of the report, along with some people with MS who gave evidence.

Wanted - Quality Standards Steering Group volunteers
