How to claim expenses
Helen, Group Coordinator for the Surrey group, tell us her top tips for claiming expenses.
In order to claim your expenses, you’ll need to complete an expense claim form, attach the receipts and give it to the appropriate person.
If you’re part of an MS Society group, this will be a member of your Coordinating Team. If you’re not part of a group, this will be your staff contact.
- Look at our Example Expense Claim Form for tips on how to fill yours in.
If you’re submitting your expense claim to one of our national offices, you’ll also need to complete a Bank Details Request Form as you’ll be reimbursed by bank transfer.

On the expense claim form, you have the option to donate some or all of your expenses back to the MS Society. If you choose to do this, the donated money will go back to the account it came from. For example, if your MS Society group is paying your expenses, once you've submitted your expense claim form, the money would go back to your group’s account.
